Although Georgia has the second largest film industry second only to California due to its Film Tax Credit Program, 97% of the film tax credits go to production companies outside of Georgia. The Orpheus Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) charity that has developed an innovative program to allow local Georgia youth the opportunity to break into the film industry by working on film sets, whether in lighting, design, costumes, makeup, as grips or production assistants.
